Our Church

The spiritual DNA of any church is what defines them and forms the foundation for ministry. We use our Mission Statement and our Core Values to help guide how we do ministry and decide what's important to us. Reading through these statements will help you to become acquainted with who we are as a church.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT
“We are a people committed to nurturing, building and equipping individuals and families to worship Jesus and to bring His love to our community and the nations.”

OUR CORE VALUES
We've chosen seven areas of emphasis that we feel strongly should define and guide our model of ministry. We call these our Core Values. Each is important and necessary to the individual and corporate growth of our congregation.

1. WORD-based
Because we believe the Bible to be our infallible guide of faith and practice, we are committed to preaching and teaching in a way that motivates people to believe its principles and practice them in their daily lives. (Psalm 119:89; 105; 138:2)

2. SPIRIT-filled
Because we believe every believer should be baptized, empowered and filled with the Holy Spirit, we are committed to encouraging each believer to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit and be released in their divine gifts and ministries. (Acts 1:8; 2:17-18; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12)

3. PRAYER-driven
Because we believe the power of prayer changes lives, works miracles and impacts nations, we are committed to be a house of prayer for all nations as we exercise ourselves in personal and corporate prayer and intercession. (Mark 11:17)

4. WORSHIP-focused
Because we believe every believer is created to worship God, we are committed to practicing the presence of God by encouraging a personal lifestyle of worship, facilitating a corporate, prophetic expression, and developing artistic excellence to display the glory of God. (Psalm 22:3; 86:9; 19:1-3; Ephesians 1:12)

5. DISCIPLESHIP-oriented
Because we believe in equipping believers to do the work of the ministry, we are committed to following the example of Christ by discipling individuals into spiritual maturity that enables them to reproduce Christ in others. (Matthew 28:19-20; John 13:35; Ephesians 4:11-13; 2 Timothy 2:2)

6. HARVEST-commissioned
Because we believe Christ died for all, we are committed to sharing the gospel with our community and the nations, ministering healing and liberty to individuals and families in all aspects of their lives. (Psalm 2:8; Joel 3:13; Mark 16:15-16)

7. BODY-minded
Because we believe the united Body of Christ is expressed as a loving family, we are committed to building community by facilitating fellowship and relationship for every age, gender, status and ethnicity. (1 Corinthians 12)
